The pre-requisite for this course is Personal Protection in the Home or other recognized firearms training. Students will develop muscle memory techniques that allow them to draw from a concealed holster or purse and deliver rounds in order to stop the deadly force threat they are faced with. Students will be provided with an NRA packet and learn Maine Law, situational awareness and avoidance, cover and concealment, emergency and tactical reloading, holster work, and much more. Students will need a firearm, 3 magazines, magazine holder, strong side holster, 350 rounds of ammo, eye and ear protection. If using a revolver, the student must bring two speed loaders.
